OBJECT PROJECT

For this project, we were instructed to source a random item from a thrift store and create a social media carousel advertising it. As I was thinking about the task, I wondered what item I was going to look for and came up with nothing. As I walked into Purple Cow, I headed towards the dvd and book section, thinking something would stick out,

It was absolutely perfect. I immediately bought the book and went home to brainstorm.

As I began creating this graphic, I knew I wanted to bring colors into the black and white line artwork filling the inside. I just started scanning in the book as it was originally intended for, probably not for college art school student. Ron made it easy for me, I just had to situate and think of how each element would play into the other.
