Of a creative mindset
Maximalism is my cup of tea.
I am a 23-year-old Graphic designer and artist from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I’m the kind of person who has no blank space on her walls and lives for LOUD! I love all things color and pattern, but have no opposition to more minimalistic designs.
My creativity began in high school, following my introduction to media arts freshman year. On the other side of learning graphic design, I used my skills to sell hand-painted products. This painting side-gig continued sophomore year of high school all the way until now! i still love to paint banners when i can. Through media arts classes, I learned Adobe Applications such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro, and began teaching myself Adobe Illustrator. I used to help with media arts summer camp, it was awesome.
Starting college i knew i wanted to try other art classes! this led to printmaking! i got to combine my love for physical and digital art by taking these classes. i was able to take Into to printmaking, intermediate Printmaking, and advanced printmaking. my senior year i got to take letterpress! there is something so special about getting to learn the Process of how signs and Posters were first made.I proceeded to earn my Bachelor of Art and Design with a minor in Entrepreneurship at Louisiana State University in May 2025. my background in entrepreneurship allowed for an expanse in my knowledge of business and how it works!
Aside from school, i was able to take my art to the streets and have participated in local markets all around Baton Rouge. these pop-ups including white light night, hot art cool nights, sorority pop-ups and more! it was so fun to meet people who wanted to buy my art without knowing who i was!
As far as my graphic design experience goes, I have been extremely fortunate to work in so many fields of visual arts. My experience ranges from Student Graphic Designer for an on-campus magazine, to Stationery & Wedding Invitations Designer at The Keeping Room. there, i learned the art of paper and printing that i had previously dabbled in with my printmaking classes. i have gotten to connect with so many people to bring their dreams to life wether through wedding invitations or personal stationery.
to conclude, i love being creative. i love making peoples visions come to life. i love graphic design.
I LOVE BEING AN ARTIST!
