Kandi Mania!

After I graduated, I was able to fulfill my dream to go to music festivals! I have been to 4 since I graduated, and have 3 coming up this year! The festival community has a lot of traditions and crafts that come with it. One of those being “Kandi”. Not your normal candy, but “Kandi” is defined “the culture of creating and exchanging colorful, handmade bead bracelets as symbols of Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect (PLUR)”. What is more fun that that!!!

Anyway, I have always wanted to make my own kandi, but not just your normal friendship bracelets, I want to use Fuse Beads to make elaborate designs!

Since the new year, I have been able to take more time to craft on my own and have already made over 20 fuse bead designs! It’s a tedious, yet relaxing task that comes out with the coolest results!
